Bed & Breakfast
If your idea of getting to know a place means getting to know the people who live there, then you might consider staying at one of the dozens of bed and breakfast establishments in Homer. Accommodations and prices vary, but there really is something for everyone. Want a view? Want an in-town location? Want helpful hosts or just a place to crash after a full day of activities? Some have private baths and entrances. Many have hot tubs. Some are close to hiking trails; others are close to shopping. Breakfast may be continental-style or a fully hosted meal. Some have wifi and cable TV. In some, children and pets are welcome. The Homer Chamber of Commerce and the Homer Bed and Breakfast Association are good sources for more information.
