Campgrounds
And Parks
As you unzip the door of your tent the morning after a restful sleep, the glistening waters of Kachemak Bay framed by the snow-capped peaks of the Kenai Mountains greet you, welcoming you to another day in Homer. Friendly for RVs, too, Homer's city campgrounds are a great place to set up a temporary summer home.
Homer's city-maintained campgrounds are open from April 1-Oct. 31. Camping fee is $8 per day for tents or $100 in advance for 14 days and $15 per day for RVs or $189 in advance for 14 days. Camping limit per site is 14 days. To register and pay, visit the Camp Fee Collection Cabin on the Homer Spit or use drop boxes at the campgrounds.
